Theatre Camps
Camp Themes
Each program consists of its own theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each time they come to LIC Stars. Each camp has games, exercises, crafts, and music that correlate with each theme.
Storytelling
Once we discover our emotions and follow our imagination we put that all together to learn about stories and change. How do our characters learn and grow. What do we learn from stories? Why do we tell stories?
Imaginative Learning
Theatre is all about engaging the imagination and kids already have that skill growing in them. We foster their creative learning through activities that allow them to dream big, whether that is flying through the air as a dragon, living underwater, or becoming a superhero.
Performing Arts
We also cover the basics of performing including projecting our voice, stage direction, stage movement, blocking, and finding our light. We take everything we learned about storytelling and put it into practice. Summer camps and semester programs will end with a performance for our families.
LIC Stars Day Camps
Ages 3 – 7
LIC Stars Holiday Camp is a day filled with the celebration of music, theater and movement! We will be playing games that introduce theatrical skills, creating crafts to make our own props and costumes, and using music to tie it all together.

LIC Stars Summer Camps are filled with the celebration of music, theater and movement! We will be playing games that introduce theatrical skills, creating crafts to make our own props and costumes, and using music to tie it all together. Each week has it’s own theme and we will put on a performance at the end for our friends and family.
